The BVI Financial Services Commission has announced a six-month extension to the filing deadlines introduced under the amended BVI Business Companies Act, which came into force on 2 January 2025.
Under the new requirements, existing BVI Companies must file Register of Members, information on director services, and Beneficial Ownership information. The original deadline of 1 July 2025 has now been extended to 1 January 2026.
A similar extension has also been granted to Limited Partnerships, which are now required to file their Register of General Partners, Register of Limited Partners, and Beneficial Ownership information by 1 January 2026.
